If you go to customchrome.com and click on new products you'll see a tear drop shaped ac cover that I still have from my 99 Heritage. I also have the matching horn cover. It's a stepped design in metal. It will fit over the k&n filter, RK3909 but to mount it you'd need to put a hole in the cover for the bolt or adapt the backing plate that fits a carb. Painted black they might look pretty cool on your ride. My wife won't let me put them on the new bike because when I had them on the other one some gal at Laughlin said they looked bitchin'. I guess I was drawing too much of the wrong kind of attention. Anyway if you're interested email me. New the set was about $250. I'd take $100 for them. Currently they are chrome.

Then if you want them to match you NT have metal_mike powder coat them, I'm about to send some parts to him, if i can ever get to taking them off! But i hear he is amazing and his flat black and wrinkle black is spot on with harleys!
I've been watchin the forums for awhile on AC covers. I hate my oval one for my night train. I've seen cds, and lots of other stuff. any good ideas for a replacement? I took the oval off and just put the chrome flames cover on top of the filter, so I'm basically runnin an open filter, and I proly shouldn't do that up here in the rain, plus the chrome just dosn't look right.
I've checked HD website, J&P, but nothin really grabs me, so I'm turnin to you guys.
If you dont want to spend any money grab a 6in sauce pan out of the cabnet and cut the handel off and drill a hole dead center for your bolt and walla oh gotta paint it black too[8D][8D]
Mine is an Arlen Ness Big Sucker with a skull insert on a Harley round cover.
But the S&S tear drop is one of the most popular performance air cleaner is history and if your EFI or CV carb is stock, you can get one of those. I have a Mikuni 42MM and they don't fit or I would have one.

A hypercharger will not get you any more hp than any other of the mentioned suggestions. Go with whatever look you want for your bike. Dont buy a hypercharger if the reason for doing so is that you THINK it will make your bike go better. Only waste money on one if the look of the hypercharger suits what you want.
If you need more convincing then do a search on hyperchargersin this forum and get the opinions ofothers who have been there and done that. Thats what the forum is for. Information sharing.
