From what I have seen & read, if your willing to buy aRocker C & dump a significant amount of money into for mods, will end up with a good looking ride.

Reason I put a deposit on it before seeing it was for 2 reasons...

1. I wanted to reserve one for myself since I tought they were going to fly off the shelves
2. My dealer told me that If I didnt want it I could get something else or money back...So nothing to lose really

I went to the bike show for a second time to look at it and still not impressed...Just not that bike for me....

The plain models motor is just gross...They powder coated everything gray which just looks wrong....

I finally saw a Rocker C in person and sat on it.
The seat felt hard, like no padding at all.
The bikes set up felt fine. Maybe it's softer riding it?

I also saw the Rocker (the gray metal one) in person (somebodyrode to our shop's open house) and it looks like cheap gray paint.
Harley's ad' people said it would pop in the sunlight, but it didn't. Just looked like gray paint parts.

The fad now is "Chrome or Black" not sure why Harley went with the gray.

Went over to one of the local H.D. dealers. They have one setting right inside the front door, kinda hard to miss. I guess my first glance was at the pipes, they don't fit the style of the bike at all. Then there's that clusterf#*k of a seat. Some engineer sat up all night to figure that masterpiece out. I'll Pass............Just my .02 cents

I've seen the Rocker (not that impressed) and the Cross Bones, now that I liked! Both bikes were sold within the week.

Call me sucker or say I have no taste, but the gray is growing on me. I spent a lot of time looking for a chopper style bike. I even went up to OCC and talked to Paul Sr. about an old school bike, but the cost of their parts list didn't make sense no matter how pretty the paint. I also plan to ride it so I wanted a company to stand behind itwithout question. I saw a Rocker C next to the Rocker, Iget the point... less bling on this bike looked better to me. Again, the gray is reallygrowing on me. I completely chromed myRoadKing, cept for the wheels (on the fence), and a friend has turned his Road King Black, even powder coated theTwin black. Not for me, I say gray is the new Chrome. But the Rocker C seat is way too uncomfortable, if I need to take the wife out then out will come the Road King. The Rocker is about me and the road. Mine isn't on the dealer buildlist yet, dealer is guessing April and every one until then he has deposits on already. He had only ordered C's which is to make more money obviously, they are getting such a small trickle of them.

One critical point,I almost traded my 06 for an 08 CVO Screaming Eagle Road King except that the frame welds were so large and ugly and painted! Can they say grinder... Can they say that at Harley? Teach your employees how to weld correctly or to FIX them afterwards! If the Rocker comes in with painted over cottage cheese welds, then I may got to another bike builder. Otherwise they have my loyalty. It is the little stuff that counts.

end rant.
