I need to get a new helmet for this season. Can anyone reccomend a good DOT Half helmet? Im looking for the smallest DOT helmet available. I found a company online by the name of Daytona Helmets. They claim to have the smallest DOT half shell available. Anyone heard of these guys? Are their helmets really that much smaller than everyone elses?Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to everyone.
It hit 61 degrees today in Mass. To bad it rained all day!!!
I have one of their helmets. I like it and it does not make my head look like a mushroom. Not sure if it's "The World's Smallest", but it's nice and I enjoy it.
Check out http://www.carbonfiberhelmets.com/dothelmets.htmMy buddy has one nice and thin DOT helmet. Pricey though. I don't own a helmet, but am planning on buying one real soon. Definetly the way I'm gonna go. I don't like the bulk of others
The carbon fiber are great helmets I have the non dot, the only thing it does not pass is the puncture test because of thinner pading, It is so light I have reached up a few times to make sure it's on.
The1st pic is the dot one my buddie got, he wears it all the time, since he got it it is the only helmet he wears.
the 2nd is the non dot

I use one of them DOT helmet for more than a year and i like it very much !!!
Like some of the other responses, I too have a DOT carbon fiber helmet. It is the closest that I have found to the non DOT helmets. Super light and small. The price is high, but worth it in my opinion.
I have one of the carbon fiber helmets from ACC, and I really liked it. It doesn't have much padding, so it wasn't the most comfortable helmet on the market, but I really like the size of it. However, I don't wear it anymore. It's blue and it matched my Deuce perfect, but I traded the Deuce for my Softail custom and I think it looks funny wearin' a blue helmet with my black bike. I just got a Harley helmet now, and I really like it too. It's a fatter helmet, but it's really comfortable.
