Attached are pics of the current setup. I want something in a Street Slammerish, integrated riser drag bar kind of thing.
Harley does not make Street Slammers for Springers. I need some help finding something similar for my Springer.
I have a 3" tank lift so whatever I go with must clear that. However, I don't want the riser to be "too" high. Somewhere between 8-9" of rise is about what I think will look right and work for me. I want something with an integrated pullback riser that will have about 10" of pullback and the tip to tip width should be around 32-36".
I was looking at the Wild1 Springer pullback drags but they lack the rise I need/want.
If you want to use stock Harley Bars and risers, Paughco makes an adapter that will match the offset between the Springer front end and a standard Wide Glide front end. I used one on my Night Train when I put a Springer front end on it but wanted to retain my stock risers and drag bars.
I found some offset kits. If things don't work out for me I may go that route.
I poked around at the Wild1 site and they have some pics of their W0565 chubby drags for Springers installed. It looks like they will be tall enough to clear my tank lift but not so tall that it looks goofy. Plus, the pull back is just what I am looking for. I may be able to reuse my cabling from the apes too.
I've been looking at the same bars you are talking about from wild1, they also have some new pullback risers for springers. If you are considering using your stock bars. i'm not sure how tall they are tho. part#w0531
I found a top tree in J&P's catalog. That would convert the tree to handle any regular 3.5" spread risers and bars. But that will end running the cost of the bars way up.
I'll look for some pullback risers. I've got the stock bars and will certainly use them if I can. I just liked the looks of the Wild 1 bars.
