I am wanting to relocate my turn signals to thefront forks. any deuce experiences and pictures with this done would be helpfull...recomendations? brands? thanks for any input
The HD catalog has a turn signal relocation kitfor theDeuce that looks real clean, no clamps around the forks.
I installed it on my "old" '06 Deuce.
you will either need to raise the gas tank to get to the turn signal connectors or cut the wires and resolder them back together.
plenty of slack, taking the gas tank off to access the connectors would be the "proper" way to do it , but the easiest way to do it is to cut the wires and solder them back together, use heat shrink to seal the splice.[8D]
You dont need to cut the wires....the pins can be removed from the harness with a pin removal tool and if you dont have that use an awl or something pointed. Make sure you write down which pin goes where. I had enough play where i didnt need to remove my tank, just make sure you have towels around to protect your paint and chrome
