Default Springer Front Tire Question..

I currently have a 96 Softail Springer (FXSTS) with a skinny front tire, but was thinking about putting the Springer Classic (FLSTC) fatterfront tire on it instead. Are the front ends the same on both these bikes? Or do I need to do something else to the front end in order to accomplish this? Or is it basically just a bolt on. Thanks in advance.

I think the front end on the Heritage sprinnger is wider to accommodate the wider tire. I don't think the 16" rim would fit you your springer front end but I'm not entirely sure.

I put a Dunlop E3 tire on my springer, really changed the look just with that tread pattern. IMO, your bike would look hot with a custom front 21"wheel, and that tire or similar. I think a smaller one, with how you have your bike set up, might look odd. Just my opinion, no flames please.
