I'm looking for help and advice on some pull back risers for my Fatboy. I'm not sure how tall I can go without changing the stock cables and wires. I thought maybe 3.5" to 4.5" would be about right but dont seem to be able to find any that size. Also I'm a bit confused with the applications in the Harley catalogue, as they all seem to be just for the FX models. Any help, advice and pictures would be much appreciated.
look at the stock risers on a flstn(deluxe). they are pretty much what your describing and since everyone changes thier bars I bet you could find a set on ebay for a song!
Back in 2000 I put a set of Softail Standard pull back risers on my 2000 Fat Boy and had to gently ease the bends in the front brake hydraulic line, an easy fix.
Part number 56066-82A. Before these, the bike simply was not very comfortable. I really had to lean forward. Now my seating position is much more upright and comfortable. THese may be 4 up 2 back... Not sure.
What year is your Fatboy? I tried to put the stock pullback risers from my Deluxe on my Bros 99 Fatboy but they hit the dash when the bars were moved all way from side to side
