I have completed all th work required to get this tank finished only to find aftre it was all said and done that it does'nt have the fuel float bracket/ears to mount he fuel float on the right side of the tunnel. i ahve looked everywhere for a pressure bracket or something that will hold it in place. i don't see how the fuel gauge can work without it being mounted correctly in the tank. The description of the tank states that you can use your stock fuel gauge. Can anyone help please?????????????

I don't think the float assembly and sending unitis attached to the tank itself. If I'm reading my service manual right its attached to the top plate along with the fuel pump.
They are installed and removed as a single assembly.

The actual mounting tabs for the float are spot welded on the tunnel of the tank. The assembly comes out together but the actual assembly clips on the bracket.
