Default Added touch to my Bones...

Hey guys.. I just put the final touch on my Crossbones... 2 years ago I was at a gun show, and bought this vintage skull bottle opener at the little swap meet they had set up outside the show. I wasn't sure at the time what I'd use it for, just knew I liked it. So, I held it up to the bike thinking if I could put it anywhere. I first thought I'd put it on the air cleaner over the center bolt, but it hits your leg. Then thought it'd be cool on the Horn shroud, but kinda hidden over on that side. Then I held it up to my front damper, and well.... it's on the front of my bike..

Well, we had to grind out the back to 2" diameter so it'd fit flush and poor over the shock. We ended up cutting a hose clamp in 1/2, drilling and taping the inner checks, and bolting each 1/2 of the hose clamp on. It's super secure. That thing is thick steal so it weights just under 1 lbs. I need to take a pic in the day of the intire bike. It so worked out. I'm stoked. Glad you guys like it.
