Just had the time to take a photo of my boy with latest upgrades.... just ordered some black forward controls from American classics, should be here on wednesday..will have a go at installing myself!! thats all part of the fun!!
Looks good. Like the black side shots. How is the se 255 cam upgrade? Did you get a little more low end grunt with the cams? Thats one thing I noticed with the 96, it doesn't have the low end grunt I thought it would have. Thinking about sticking those in for now.
nice bike it looks great. Yeah the fun is putting on the parts yourself. I feel that it gives me a sense of pride about my scooter. The only thing I wont touch is the motor the last on it screwed it up pretty good and it cost more to have them fix it than if they would have done the mods themselves.
I'd like to know about the cams too. Run good? What difference could you tell after the install. And of course, does it "pop" hard at idle now? Hell thats half the reason for installing a cam(s) on a bike or car.[8D]
Thanks for your comments. The real sad thing is i cant tell you much about the cam difference because i live in a ski resort and have not had the weather to permit a test ride..( 10miles on the clock)!!!! i can tell you that the rumble is awesome..as soon as i get i clear day to take a ride will let you know. As for the seat Draw Down it seems fine but ill let you know, just love the look off those C&C seats! And those wheels look the bizzness, these changes are so addictive ......
Oh yes the reflectors are going, tonight!!!!!!!!
