I have a 2007 nighttrain and have V&H Big radius pipes and the arlen ness big sucker on and i'am trying to put on my PC 3 and i need to know if i just install it from the box or do i have to download a mape for this any help would be great
I have the identical set up as you. Except I have the Thunder Monster baffles.I bought mine from FuelMoto. They loaded a map and when I had it dynoed they were basically right on the money. A hair rich, but that is where I kinda wanted it. I would rather be a hair rich then too lean. Even the guy doing the dyno said that I should leave it where it was.
thats great to know so you never had to play around with it at all? thanks this is all good to know by the way i like how you set up your ride
Very nice
I ended up havin to play around with mine, I had some major pop on decel, but the dynojet guy talked me through it on the phone. I just changed my map and the pop is at least not bad now. this spring I'm gonna go get a dyno and put it all behind me.

No I didnt play with it....BUT that was with the map that FuelMoto loaded for me. Those guys at FuelMoto are really nice guys. I bet if you called them that they would email you the map and you could just download it into your PCIII. Its good PR, you could be a future customer. I believe I delt with Jamie. I just told him I had the V&H BR and the Ness big sucker.
Thanks for the compliment. When I bought my bike I really liked the Softail Custom but I hated the seat and the bars. I loved the seat and bars on the Nightrain but wanted some chrome. Not alot, just some. So I got the NT and added the chrome: outer primary, horn cover, coil cover, changed the air cleaner to an open one with the skull insert, skull derby and timer cover, chrome rear wheel and sproket cover, (not in picture...I added a one piece HD chrome instrument panel with bib) I also just bought a fully chromed 21" Thunderstar wheel for the front. I also added some flat and wrinkle black stuff too.

I had a bad dead spot getting on the throttle. I called Dynojet and the guy emailed me a firmware update. I took my laptop to my bike, downloaded it, and the hesitation was gone. Its amazing. Im used to carbs and pulling them apart to change jetsand adjust air/fuel screws. Fuel injection is great. If anyone needs that update...I saved it.
My goal was not to pull every single bit of HP out of the engine, but rather to make sure Im not hurting the engine by being too lean or too rich. Its a Harley, If I wanted to go real fast I would have dropped half the money I did and bought a new Busa. Then I would dust 99% of the bikes on the road
