Just did this on my Deluxe. There are a few details you need to be aware of but it's not a hard mod to do. There is quite a bit of info on this site so a search would help.

Purchase new oil seals
Purchase or make an extended 6mm Allen key attached to a socket. This is used to remove the recessed Damper bolt after you remove the axel. I used an impact wrench.

Here is a site that may help:

Pretty easy do it yourself mod onmy 2005Fatboy, just takes a little time. If you don't have a service manual you might plan on getting one, it'll come in handy. Just did the forks on my Ultra last week. That was a little more involved!!

not hard at all. just gotta get the front wheel and fender off, drain the oil, pop out those allens in the bottom, then use the leg as a slide hammer to get it off. I didn't buy any special tools, I just stuffed the allen up there and used a closed box end wrench on the allen to turn the other side.
If you have a hard time gettin the allens loose, just slide the axle back on and get em started, then you should be good to go. the hardest part is gettin the new seals in, I took my fork leg all the way out and cut a the right diameter of pvc pipe and used that as a slide hammer to get the seal back in place. whatever you do don't use a screwdriver or anything sharp to put the seal back in, you might slip and scar your fork

I don't know how you'd ever get the seals seated without removing the forks from the bike.

No do not try it at home if you have not done it before. You need specialty tools, (metric for the lower forks, seal installers e.t.c.)
