Default Horn relocation or removal

looking to move to the softail. leaning towards the NT.

quick question: can the horn cover/horn be moved to another location? I don't like the cowbell look at all. can it be relocated to the front of the bike like the rocker or nightster?

thanks

If you are handy fabbing up your own brackets, you can put that horn pretty much anywhere you want it. Stash it completely out of sight if ya want to go with a "cleaner" look. Myself, I wouldn't take it off the bike altogether, the cops may ask you to sound it sometime and he/she might not have a sense of humor when you yell, "HONK!"

Yes you can take the horn out of the cow bell and put it anywhere you can make it fit!

I agree .... the cowbell is fugly. I am also trying to figure out how I could get rid of it. HD sells a smooth round cover which I was thinking of powdercoating.

I put mine in a box in my garage. Looks good there, but it's not very loud.

Good one.

I've got mine tucked away just in front of the swingarm, hidden by a chrome sub-fender.
