What parts are required to remove the dog bowl hub cap on the FLSTC?

Is there a smaller chrome piece that will replace it?

I removed mine a while back and just changed the wheel spacers. I have heard they need to be changed when the hub cap is removed, but I'm not so sure about that. The factory spacers appear to be the same size as the chrome ones I purchased. The only reason I changed the spacers was I wanted chrome ones.

but the spacers will do the trick.

You don't need anything. All you have to do is take the hub cap off, remove the ring clip on the inside of the hub which will release your stock wheel spacer. Put the spacer back on and your done. Just took mine off when I installed white walls.
