For those who are interested: I've updated some of the work I'm doing to my 2002 Deuce.
I've kept a pictionary on all the work I've ever done on my other toy, so I thought I'd keep the tradition.
I purchased this Deuce about 3 weeks ago, and had some ideas for it right away. As spring is coming soon, I wanted to get as much done before the riding season. I should have paint started by the end of March, and I'm going to keep the rear fender stock until November.
Prototype or re-vamped Yaffe fender install and fit up
Widen the tank 3" - 1 1/2" on each side of the tank caps - Next is to install the extensions.
There is so little paintable surface on the Deuce, that it's going to be a challenge.
I think I can get away with a cut down version of the tank - Keeping in mind I have widened the take 3" and am in the middle of stretching it another 4".
The front fender will more than likely be be just the back of the Decker fender.
I'll be starting to lay down some prelim paint by the end of the month.
