hello, I recently sold my hardtail sporty that i built for a more comfortable 01 deuce... i love the duce but being a restless builder im always looking to modify. after looking at rear fenders and seats, im starting to realize that everything fits any softail (except deuce) why is that and can i modify softail stuff to fit my deuce? i really want to put the lucky f*cker rear fender on my deuce or the rsd fender on my bike but both say except deuce.... im confused
The Deuce is a unique softail. Seat, rear fender, tank, all unique to the Deuce. Now the tank does fit the Rocker as HD had to do something with all the spare tanks.
there re a lot of bolt on parts available for the deuce, you just gotta look a little harder. check out some of the deuces on these forums to give yourself some ideas, then start asking questions. good luck
the deuce had an extended tank, the seat had to be rolled up/shortened to make room for it,and it had a one off fender and tail light..if you put on a normal sized tank,a normal seat will fit.the fender mounts should be universal with any softail but if it was changed, it wouldn't be a deuce any more(no loss in my opinion)
