I bought the chrome fender strut bolts and just replace the studs with the chrome bolts. It'ssort of a pain, but itonly takes a few mins to remove bags and replace the studs with bolts.

i have had the bags off for a few months now .... its strange how quickly you can get used to not having them ( and end up carrying sh$t in them all the time.

I Did The Same Thing Chrome Bolts,, And I use Wing Nuts For Quick Removel,
And I leave a 1/2 - 9/16 wrench and allen Wrench In A Leather Pouch In The
Bags, So I have Them Right There
No Problem ,, No Long Studs Sticking Out
Just A Clean Look
