Finally back from Germany. Let me see if I can attach this picture. Folks give me some feedback; should I go with lower apes or something else?

Ya, I think they look good. Just switch to a set thats narrow at the bottom. Thats the only thing that makes them not "fit" your bike. I don't know if you can find a set of the chubby's with the narrow base or you may have to go with the 1 inch. I think it will make all the difference in the world.

 

I believe all Chubbys are 1.25s. Dog06bob has a link to some 1" ones. Do you all know of any others?

 

I put the 12.5 Wild Ones on the wife's Heritage and I have a set of Yaffe Bagger Monkey bars ordered for the SG. The wife rode with the 12.5's today for the first time since I put them on and now she wants them on the Deluxe which is cool by me, then I'll have 3 bikes to choose from to ride[sm=badbadbad.gif]

 

Went by the Harley dealer in Marietta, GA today to get some ideas. One of the guys working there had a bad a$$ Springer Classic with some 18" Custom Chrome apes. That bike was way cool. If I change to lower bars, I hope the wiring won't be a major PIA, as I don't want to spend too much for this.
