I am going to order some Vance & Hines Big Radius Pipes today. But for the next 2 weeks I would like to make my 2008 Fat Boy louder. Is it ok to remove the baffles? Will this make it louder? Are there any negatives? Thanks guys.

It will make it louder but you'll lose bottom end and it sounds real tinnie (?) No loud rumbel but loud as hell. I put torqe cones in mine that brought back some bottom end but I ordered 4" mini baffels that will be here Monday because it still sounds tinnie. Hope it helped. I have the same pipes

Try Big City Thunder baffles. Louder and lower - cinch to put in. Mine sound better with them.

I don't have baffels in my pipes. They sound good to me. I do the notice the loss of bottom end torque.
