I got pulled over cause I was "Speeding". Cop said I was goin 65 on a 40 I know I wasnt but did not make a big deal about it. I was hoping he'd give me theticket and let me get goin nut he ran the vin and my registration came up as expired. I was not using my bike for the winter so I did not renew the registration, but as luck would have it I decided to take a stroll on a good sunny day and they pulled me over. The cop kept haggling me asking me if I was drinking and if I smoked weed. I said no and I dont do drugs. Gave me a lot of crap about my non DOT Helmet and my Modified Pipes and even my saddle bags?!?!??Gave me a ticket for

No Registration, expired registration
Speeding
Can he impound my bike? Can I fight the speeding tix? Help!!!
I got my bike back the next day Had to pay 260.00 for Rgistration and 170.00 for release form and 107.00at the impound lot.

Around here they have laptops in the squads and they run numbers as they drive around. My son got his license suspended and tortured the poor cops for weeks, by having his buddy drive him around. He told me they got pulled over like every 2 hours, checked identities, and then said have a good day and let them go - they (the kids) were getting a kick out if it.
I think your screwed, get a good mouthpiece if you want to try fight it and get if off your record.
