Sure you can fight the speeding ticket, but it doesn't look good for you. It will go something like this:
Judge: How do you plead?
You: Not guilty, I wasn't speeding.
Cop: Got him on radar doing 65 in a 40.
Judge: Your fine is ____, pay the clerk.
Judge: How do you plead?
You: Not guilty, I wasn't speeding.

Dude, your riding your bike with no plates, expired registration, and contrary to your word...probally speeding and your gonna come in here and bitch about getting tagged. Suck it up dude, you fk'ed up, pay the price like a man, or dont take it outta the garage. Cop was doing his job. Dont be a ****** and suck it up and pay the fines.

Good you got 3 tickets. Now you have something to work with. Call the prosecutor's office before the court date. They will meet you at the court and cut a deal on the 2 non moving offenses and they should drop the speeding. maybe offer to take a safety course.

Put yourself in the cops place. If he let you ride off into the sunset, without plates, how does he know that you're gonna get it fixed? If you promise to not ride the bike, will you let it stay here until you get a valid tag? Yeah, RIGHT!!!
