i have never ridden a bike with a stock springer, but a 12" over aftermarket springer sucks bad, it flexes evryway but up and down

had a springer and a wide glide, then
went back to a springer and appreciated it even more.

I've got an 03 and an 08 so I guess you could say I like them. Slightly more maintenance but that's nothing compared to the style and cool factor. Smooth ride too.

I am in the process of rebuilding my 96 heritage softail,and we are putting a springer on that baby with drag bars and a 21' front wheel,and some candy apple red. I am hoping for a sweet *** bike when shes done.been trying to find any pics or articles on this type of conversion. any help or opinions?

I have an 05 Softail Springer Classic It rides so smooth its like a cadilac very very smooth

I have a Deuce and an X Bonz. I prefer the ride of the bonz hands down. It is soooo much smoother.

I like the look of them too but are they really that good ?? and if they are why are they not on all bikes ?? I've heard rumours that they're an old design and ride stiff Have been looking at the X Bones as a possible next bike,not had a chance for a trial ride on one yet so this thread is interesting
