Default Highway Pegs

I have a 06 Standard. Is there anyway of mounting highway pegs without having to install the engine guard. And if so where can I get them. Does Harley have such a thing ? I have long legs and would like to stretch out after riding for awhile.

ON my springer I used to have a set, I HATED THEM! They didnt stick out very far & were actually less comfy than my floor board, lets see if I got a pic....Ah yes heres an OLD pic of my springer

These are Kuryakyn Mark III that attach to the floor boards.
The Mark IV attaches to the frame.
and I think they even makes a version that streches farther out too.

those Mark IIIs really help clean up the front end. I made the mistake of going the engine guard route..... and because I'mstill doing a few other things to her, I can't "junk" the guards for the IIIs just yet. something is better than nothing.

I like those Mark III's a lot. Just looked at the website. Are those things about $225? That seemstoo high but it's true?

I have the IV's and at 6'3", I need to find if I can mount them a bit lower. Is a little cramped for me presently.

I am about 5-11 and pegs mounted to the frame are a little to far away for me. These work for others about my size? I always felt I was tempting fate stretched out too far. Are they really $225?

I put the Mark IV's on my Heritage Springer and they are the best mod I've made. Engine guards aren't for me. I got mine through cyclespot.com, way better price. FYI eventhough the instructions don't say where to use it, use the included anti-sieze before you mount the arms to the mounting brackets, even if you're just doing a test fit. Don't ask me how I know.
