I was very disappointed to find that the 2 "L" brackets and the 1 "Z" bracket included in this kit is not chromed. I called the tech department at Kuryakyn and he did confirm this.Kuryakyn said I could get the brackets chromed myself since they are zinc or I could send the kit back to them. I stated my concern was that I had already paid the vender, Ride Motors in Fresno CA, for them and they will not refund the money. The tech at Kuryakyn seemed disturbed by this and offered to take it up the management level. I have not decided which way to go yet.
What is even more disappointing is the vender where I purchased this in Fresno CA, Ride Motors. Before it was installed, the guy at Ride Motors pointed this out to me and asked me what I wanted to do. I told him I did not want it. He told the person attending the front office/sales that I did not want it and she stated that they "special ordered" it for me and I have no choice but to pay for it. Since the bike was on the lift I had no choice but to pay for it otherwise I would have just rode off. I will not ever go back to them again
