My only dislike is the way it is mounted.
You will not be able to get to the battery with out tools to take it off.
Other than that its the best bolt on to my HD the driver rest is great.
I have the two-up seat for my Heritage. I don't like the way it looks on the bike, its a large seat, looks bulky. Although It is the most comfortable seat ever, I've done a few 600-1000 mile days on her and you never get saddle sore. I only put it on for road trips, keep the stock seat for bar hopping.
Thanks for all the replies and pics. definately think Im gonna go with a Mustang now. A buddy at work initially recomended them to me he rode from Alaska through Canada down to Colorado on his and raved about how comfortable it was. I just wasnt sure about the looks on a non bagger.
I think its a great seat. The wife loves the back seat much better then the stock night train seat. I've rode about 7 hours in one day with the seat and was alittle sore but I did just put the seat on the day before so I didn't have a chance for break in miles. I also carry the torx bit for taking the seat off in my tool bag.
I have the mustang wide vintage solo with backrest. Love it very comfortable! Have the passenger pillion also to match when my bride wants to ride!! I had a Mustang one piece 2up wide vintage touring and replaced it with the solo for longer solo trips. For barhoppin' and sittin and lookin mean and cool I have a Danny Grey flame stitch buttcrack solo. You can't go wrong with a Mustang, IMO!!![sm=biker2.gif]
It kinda has to mount like that when you think about it... that drivers backrest would put a tremendous amount of pressure on the seat and wherever it connects to the bike... better the 2 bolts on the side and the rubber mounts than a single bolt on the fender like the standard one I reckon

Other thing is that it is GOOD how it bolts on because you don't see any EXTRA bolts going into the fender etc etc. Also harder to steal when parked which is a bonus!

2007 Deluxe - any feedback on the sport vs wide w/backrest - have decided on a Mustang seat but not sure which one is better. It will mainly be used for longer distance rides.
my experience with the Mustang Vintage seat is limited.... but, everyone I've seen seems to push the driver forwardclose to 2 inches. that's OK for a short guy - but witha 33" inseam, I need all the leg room I can get.
