These are the two I'm thinking about for my '07 Deluxe as well. Seems to me that the vintage wide would be the most comfortable but............... man that back seat looks huge[sm=insomnia.gif].

2007 Deluxe - any feedback on the sport vs wide w/backrest - have decided on a Mustang seat but not sure which one is better. It will mainly be used for longer distance rides.
Pooh, nice wheels, pulley, and rotors. I really like em, maybe since I just ordered them also . I swear hog pro will probably never sell me a set of wheels again. It started off as an order for a front polished wheel, week later called back and added front rotor, nother week later called back and added polished rear wheel and rotor, nother week later added pulley, finally called back and changed it all to black anodized. Luckily they were back logged and hadn't started on the polished wheels yet so it wasn't an issue to change them, unluckily it'll now be another month of waiting.
Long story short Im glad to see a mustange vintage solo will look good with hog pro indy's.
Ok, one more question it seems to be consensus that the mustang's move you forward some, but what about vertically? Do they raise or lower you much compared to stock?
Just wondering if anyone has photos of any Mustang seats on softails? Ive searched and got lots of results but they were all on baggers. Those look fine but Im just wondering how it would look on my bike an 07 Night Train. thanks

I have a Mustang Seat #76386 and tank bib on an '07 Night Train.
It moves you forward a little bit, but after I put forward extensions and broke it in, it feels great
I don't think it changes you vertically from stock. Only thing I don't like about this model, it looks chunky without the sissy bar, but with the bar I think it looks fine, just my opinion.
"aviator" brought up a good point, what mustang seat would be best for a tall rider? I would like to go down and back about 2". Is that possible with a mustang seat or any seat for that matter?
Mine is the Mustang 'Regal Duke' #75049. Narrower seat than stock, which I wanted. It does sit me down more in the bike, if more forward at all I haven't really noticed. I'm 6' tall and have long legs but also have forward controls, so it hasn't been an issue for me. I like the look of the seat on the bike...wife also indicates the passenger portion is more comfortable than stock.
The seat is well broken in by now and sorry to say I'm still only good for 1.5 to 2 hrs before my butt starts to hurt. That is still longer than I used to be able to do on the stock seat - and may be because of my bony butt, not sure. I bought a gel pad at Daytona this year and with the addition of the gel pad I am good for even longer, 2+ with no problems. Pic of it on the bike is in my sig pic. [8D]
I have a sport solo and just bought a wide solo for my upcoming trips. When I put the wide solo on, it felt like I was sitting on a pillow. I can ride for hours and not get the stiff aching back from the stock HD seat.
Well everyone talked me into it, just bought the vintage sport solo and passenger pillion. I gave Mustang a call yesterday and had a good talk with them. Went ahead and ordered both of them from American Classic this morning. I was a little hesitant from some of the stuff Ive read here on the forum but as cheap as they had them listed I went for it. I'll be sure to post pics when it arrives. Thanks for all the replies.
Lots of pics and comments about seats. I have a Mustang vintage soloand passagner pillion and love my solo seat. If you did not get the backrest, call them back and order it. The backrest is the best mod I have put on my bike.I can now ride from full tank to empty with no problems. With the stock seat I could last about 90 minutes.
