Local dealer has a new '07 Softail Standard for sale. They have installed a Vance and Hines Big Radius 2:1, SERT, SE A/C and the large HD chrome billet headlamp. The bike is Vivid Black and has the security option. They were asking 16K a month ago and said they would take $15,400(not including sales tax) now. I know that the Standard has been discontinued for '08. I would be installing the chrome engine kit and doing a 103 kit soon after. This looks like a preety good deal to me but am not sure and would appreciate any thoughts or input.
Paid $14,895 for my '07 FXST without any of the extras you are getting, so yeah that is a very good deal. The FXST is a great bike, ready to be made into whatever you want.
