My best friend just bought a 2008 Yamaha Warrior, anybody ever driven one? My Friend claims my 08 Night Train is a dud compared to. Being from Canada I can't ride my bike for another 2 months. Someone please give me some ammo, other then specs

Thank you that is what I said. There is 5 of us who just bought bikes and I'm the only one who bought a Harley, I have wanted one since I was a kid. My dream came true at Christmas time for myself, to bad they can't ride a real bike I guess
Has he ever ridden a night train? or any other HD for that matter. Who cares if his bike is faster, I didn't buy my bike to go fast.
When I first started riding bikes, I had a Honda Shadow Aero 750. It was nice, rode great, good value for what I paid for it. Me and a buddy were out and we got on our bikes to leave and a couple girls kinda giggled behind us and said "oooohhh Harley's". Now obviously they didn't know a Harly from a hole in the ground, but they new Harley's were cool.
That's going to be a hard one to argue... My suggestion would be a quick reference to the tank.... His says "Yamaha" yours says "Harley Davdison." You chose heritage/legacy, he chose technology.... It is what it is. Oh, and yours isn't a Yamaha. =)
your mates are jealous ... the fastest rider will eventually be riding by himself ... enjoy the experience.
mostHarley ridersstart out on jap bikes but eventually we save up enough to get whatthey really wanted all along. they might not be the quickest, cheapest, most comfortable, or most reliable butthat is not why we have them.
Unless your Train is built, his Yammerhammer would spank you hands down. But, who cares. While he is speeding away, it leaves you more opportunity to find a hottie to occupy your classy rear seat . Girls like jap bikes, real women ride Hogs...nuff said.
I had an 05 Warrior that I traded in on my current bike. The Warrior is arm socket-ripping, hands pulled of the grips fast. I'm not exagerating either. The bike has gobs of torque and power with tons of aftermarket parts out there. It's a fun bike no doubt that can run the twisties like sport bike. With that being said, I love my Harley. It's more comfortable and very little vibration. Oh, did I mention I love the sound? As for being as fast as a NT - it's faster unless the NT has had some engine work done to it. The bike will do 130 mph bone stock with an averaged - sized rider. I could only get it to 125 with my fat azz.
