Hi,
Just joined the forum, and posted on the new members area. I have a 2005 FLSTN. Saw that Rinehart is now offering slip on mufflers that will work on softails. I have been considering doing something with my exhaust system. I really like the look of the Rineharts with the black tips. No idea how they would sound. Has any one tried these yet. I'm not sure which direction to go, Vance and Hines big shots or the Rineharts. Also not sure yet how they would look on the deluxe.
I'll try to get pictures of my bike posted in the deluxe thread, as soon as I figure it out.
I've really enjoyed reading the posts, great advice from all.
Hey there.. well I dont have a deluxe.. I have an '05 RKC but I am scheduled to get the Rinehart slip-ons installed on Tuesday... hope I made the right decision. I have been searching for someone with info on these but there are still very nice.. so I guess I will be one of the 1sts.. wish me luck.. will let ya know...
Well.. she is all done.... (I will put in a nice plug for Auburn Harley (California); I was dropping my bike off yesterday, for service to be performed today and they were able to get everything completed including the 2500 mile service yesterday, which was much more convenient for me) I couldnt be happier.... not sure about the true hp/torque gains but it is definitely more responsive... and the bark it puts out is nice.... just what I was looking for.... deep throaty sound upon take-off.. definitely lets people know you are there... and quiets out on the freeway.... the dealer continued to recommend that I have the Power Commander done for additional HP/Torque gain.. but I will stick with the download for now... seemed ok for now...
I would recommend the Rinehart Slip-ons to anyone looking for that low bark...
