Default carb issue???

Question of a mechanical nature. Last couple of times I went for a ride, when I stop and hit the kill switch, the engine "diesels" for just a second or two, then dies. It does not happen every time I turn the bike off, as I said it has only happened twice so far. Does this sound like some kind of carb malfunction, or is that "just a carb thing?"

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

By the way, my scoot is a 1986 H-D Heritage Softail Classic, 1340cc Evo.

Default RE: carb issue???

Is idle up too high?

Maybe lower octane gas?

It is not a carb thing. Some thing is wrong.

Another thing would be timing advanced too much.
