Default ROCKER C BEING LOWERED

Took my bike in for the 1000 mile service today and already miss it. The weather is 73 today and 76 tomorrow. Also swapping out the swing arm and dynoing the upgrade and they had to order the lowering kit. Poor babys sittin there with the rear end off and exaust off it. Lowering bolts will be in tomorrow. Hoping for 78 hp range. Cant wait until tomorrow

I wish! My original swingarm had a dry spot on the clearcoat. Nothing on the swingarm, 1hr on the dyno, 30min on the lowering. On the lowering I think its more, but since its already apart they're only charging 30min.

Be sure to post some pics. I'm curious to see what lowering does for that giant gap behind the seat.

probably wont do much...that gap is there for the pass seat to fold in and out. you need the gap on that bike. unless it makes it even bigger[&:]. anyway....love to see some pics..i thought the rocker was pretty low as a stock bike

Im closing the gap not extending it. The Harly softtail lowering kit is non adjustable, just a one time adjustment, of about an inch. Arlen Ness, and LCC,make a an adjustible shock bolt. Harley$128.00, AN$64.00, and LCC$52.00, I'm going with the LCC, they look better and have nylon lock nuts. 2 inch adjustment either way. Harley's come with new chrome bushings. You can use the ones that come on the bike. There is two adjusting points, the actual swing arm and the two shocks.
