for those that care (and even those that dont) the wife says if i change the seat she'd be upset. yes the brawler or the sundowner would be more comfy for her, but it would change the whole look of the bike and she (as well as i) love the look of the sprung riders seat. so we have decided to try another direction and that is to get the alaskan sheepskin pads for long rides. if that doesnt help then we will revisit the seat change. i am glad she finally came around. if anyone has had the buttpads please give me your pros/cons on them
thanks

I have the brawler seat on my Xbones. I will post pics when I get them. I like the look of the brawler. When I post pics tell me what you think. Gino

Had the x bones for a couple of weeks with the brawler seat and sissy bar...only complaint on the sissy bar is that they put the pad too low for any comfort..it is butt level and probably should have been back level. The passenger seat blends great with the brawler seat...Anybody have Rush pipes??

ORIGINAL: chazzy

Picked up my dark blue pearl Xbones last Saturday, I had the dealer install V&H short shots staggered, power commanderIII, and standard SE air kitI will post some pics soon.
Look forward to the picture, that configuration interests me, my crossbones is on order but due to lack of stock in Europe I will have to wait until late August or September for an 09 model, what a bummer

Guys, I got to be honest. I personally like the springer seat better than the brawler. I considered getting a bawler myself. I think what I'll end up doing is getting a flatter seat without as much and padding and possibly some lower springs.

I think the brawler still looks bad *** but what attracted me to the bike was springer front end and the springer seat. The only thing I didn't (and still don't) like is the ride height.
