I have been lurking around here for awhile, this is a great site for a newbie like me. I have finally made the cross over from sport bikes to cruisers. I ordered a Crimson Red Rocker and I'm excited about it. My question is has any one put on drag bars, like the ones pictured on the black Rocker on the Harley Davidson site? If so I would like some pictures. Or ideas on which ones to choose.
This site sure makes the time go by, I'm in the Army in Iraq working on my second tour. So it will be a few months longer before I can get on that sweet Rocker. Thanks in advance for the help on the drag bars.
thank you get home safe
my prayers with you and others serving
"dump the chumps"God Bless
im in korea for a year, stationed at Osan. whereabouts you at? i got friends at bucca and in saudi... a couple 68Whiskey in bagdhad and a hazmat/nuclear SME from alaska just got back. whats your MOS?
I PLAN ON 86ING THOSE UGL RISERS AND JUST DOING 6 INCH STRAIGHT RISERS AND HARLEY DRAG BARS NOT THE ONES OFFERED FOR THE ROCKER BUT THE NIGHTRAIN BARS. THEY'LL PUT YOU OUT A LITTLE FURTHER AND MAKE THE LINES LOK A LITTLE BETTER.
The stock bars make the bike feel really nice. Not the best looking but not bad either. Wait till you ride it and you may change your mind and put the $ towards something else. Get home safe buddy.
Yea, the bars will have to wait until I can actually get on the bike and see how it feels. I already know I'm going with a new exhaust V&H Big radius or long shots, and the tan seat from heartland biker. thanks again to everyone.
