Can you actually hear those things when you're riding about? I struggle to hear ACDC cranked all the way up on my IPOD headphones half the time

Hey man, you bought the bike, figure out what you like, and make it your own. It may not be what others like, but we ain't riding it, you are. Now, start putting some chrome on that thing.

Looks great dude. You got the perfect touring bike. .......Shield, Radio, nice bags, pillion and sissy. Perfect. Oh, and I'm kinda parcial to the headlight too.
All on a '08 Fatty. Can't be beat.
And then, if you feel like it......... Strip the whole lot orf in 5 mins to get your bare-bones around town Fatty.

I like them plain.. no windshield,bags,radio,,I would like a Street Glide now,,but I would not change the look of my Fat Boy......

I get alot of complements on the FATBOY all the time. Yes, you really can hear the radio at any speed, the interstate with semi's going by is the only time that I had trouble hearing. I avoid interstates like the plague anyway. I think you get alot more fun and get to see more of AMERICA on the old highways and backroads.
I want to have my stock rims chromed, that is next on my agenda.

Trim em like you want em. If it is your style to set it up for touring then go for it.
I have an 08 I ordered while I was in Iraq and got it when I got home three weeks ago. I Love it. and cannot quit buying stuff for it. FATBOY RULES!!!!!

I love skynard. I went on agreat ride today, something about good classic rock and the roar of a V-TWIN that just makes the world seem better.
