The other night, someone 'bombed' me with rocks from an overpass while I was on the freeway. Kids I'm sure. [:@] Well at least I keep telling myself so I'm less mad.
So one dented the black panel that is on top of the console. I guess it would be called a console panel? Dash panel?
Anyhow, I'm trying to figure out if this is something I can buy without replacing the whole console.
I see aftermarket ones but they seem to bolt over the factory, and I like the black that is there now. On the deluxe its a smooth black panel.
Anyhow, anyone know about this? I can't find anything on Ebay, the parts book or HD online.
Call the dealer. They can look it up in the parts manual. They'll be able to tell you how much, or what else you can do, and for what price. The other thing I would do is file a Police Reoprt. In case someone gets killed or something, which, IMO, is a real possibility.
that is one wild post rhubarb
you don't seem violently angry that a rock missed you by an inch an instead just dented that panel,
my guess is that you are just not letting on as to how angry you were,
the panel can be replaced, good to hear you weren't hurt
