Does anyone know what's going on with custom chrome. I bought a really nice front rim from them about a month ago and now I am having trouble getting the hub for it. Custom chrome say's they are in the middle of a court battle and 80% of their hubs are recalled and they are not making any now or in the future. If anyone has any contacts so I can find a hub I would appreciate it...tired at looking at my $700 rim in a box......at a real stand still
I may be wrong, but I believe that their hubs are made overseas. [:@] So if they are in a law suit regarding them, I wouldn't be surprised. How thick the wheel. If you measure the thickness of the wheel, I can probably give you some leads.
I am sure of the size of 21x2.15...and i just called harley to verify the 25 mm axle. Do not have the equiptment for the picture... I f you have a custom chrome catalog a pic is in the catalog as they still sell the part........thanks for the help...mike
Is it possible to have a hub made from a independent manufacturer or does revtek have to make their own hub for this rim...kind of desperate willing to pay more for it.....mike
If you could help me i would really appreciate it. I am a little apprehensive about sending my rim to a stranger..for fear he might take off with it and i would have to hunt him down..lol...Let me know how you want this done and give me some reassurance that i don't get ripped off...A couple of guys told me that you are top quality so that's all i have to go buy...mike
I'm trying to conduct alittle business here and i don't think it is any concern of yours what is going on. I don't like your sarcastic tone so back off and find another section to rip on some one ..dude
