how to removew tiny rustlings from chrome? Newbie here
Just bought 02 flstfi and it has tiny rustlings on the chrome. I live near the Pacific. Any suggestions on what to use to get rid of that? I've used mothers but I am so specific with this damn bike that it hasnt done me justice. I also used that wadding stuff. another thing is i rode an 05 deluxe the other day and it was way faster than my fattie. He had short dog pipes but it blew me away. my mufflers were supposedly cone at the dealer where they reprogrammed the chip, but it is slow as a dog. Air filter is clean. Does the grade of gas affect this? Im thinking about changing pipes, then do I have to reprogram thje chip again. Another dumb question, where is the oil drain bolt? I used to ride rice rockets? Fatboys for life will have a pic soon.

There are some heavy abrasive stuff like Autosol for chrome polishing. It should be used with extreme care and best not used at all. BUT if you got rust spots, try to remove the rust with it and then try to prevent it from comming back.
A lot of people belives that chrome is maintenance free. It's NOT!
