The pipes are hot.

Maybe you want to trade for my SEII slip ons?

Finally. I stated the exact same thing on my bike. No one said a thing. Doesnt feel any different to me. Sounds a whole lot better though. Fuel mileage is still really good also.

Stage 1 changes in air intake and good exhaust should get you about an extra 10 horses and 10 to 15 pounds of torque. It's the torque that'll give you the feel of more power. You got great looking pipes but I don't think they'll give you the torque improvements like a staggered or 2 into 1 system. I have to assume you got the bike dyno tuned when the changes were made. I don't know much about the fuel pack and there're many different opinions on its merits versus a Power Commander and SE Race Tuner. Personally I like the Race Tuner for tuning EFI. With that said you should feel a difference with Stage 1 and you are not so I thinks it's the pipes and/or tuning.

I think the best way you can "tell" the difference a stage 1 makes is the way it pulls, without chugging, when you are in too high of gear. It is very apparent. If you haven't ridden since last fall, think back to how the bike pulled when you rolled on the throttle compared to now.

I did notice a little difference, but not the "Oh man I have to hold on now" thing.

Put a set of cams in and you'll wake up that motor.

Well, I think that would be a little too much to expect just from air cleaner and pipes and no dyno-tuning. What kind of baffles did you put in those short curved pipes? Maybe your back pressure in that setup is a little low.

My understanding is if you run straight pipes, you will lose lower end torque.
