backseat on xbones
Hey guys....yesterday I took my backseat off my Bones, and saw that the fender had some marks on it (in the paint) from where the vinyl or leather wraps around underneath and is fastened to the seat itself. The wrinkles where the leather is secured on the bottom of the seat are what's leaving the marks. Anybody have this problem?

dont know, the only time i took the back seat off was to remove the grab strap, and that was day one. seat hasnt been off since, but i will go look at it later and let you know

Just commenting, think its looks nicer without the sissy bar, is there a low profile one available, just thinking agead, my Bones will not be in stock until late August and im considering what extra to get in the meantime

One solution is to apply some of the 3M paint protector film to the fender where the passenger seat rides. This would protect the paint from scuffing. Mike at Profinish sold me a piece for my XBones. After I bought the film, I saw that the same film (slightly smaller) was available in the Walmart auto accessories at a third of the price. You could also get some adhesive backed felt from Lowes or Home Depot and place on the high spots of the passenger seat. This too would protect the paint.
