Wow what a good deal. Congrats on the bike and mine and even my last HD made a low volume rubbing sound at low speeds when on the brakes. I never had any problems though seems to be the way the compund in the stock pads are. One you put some miles on it it may get better. What other mods you got planned?

Congrats on a great buy and sweet bike.
If you think the stock pipes sound good, wait til you get some after markets like V&H. Plus you won't hear the brakes.

Thanks for all the comments guys! Yea one of my buddies said the "break sound" should get better after a few longer rides. It's really not that bad, not to noticiable.

As for mods...not to sure. Some of you might thinks I'm crazy but I actually like how the bike looks (for now) This was a big purchase for me so I gotta save up a bit more cash (recent colleg grad here)

1.) Definitely a windshield for the longer rides. I like the looks of the Windvest.
2.) Loud security system...I live in an apt, keep the bike locked up in an enclosed trailer outside..trailer is all locked up however thinking of getting some type of loud motion security system (any thoughts)
3.) I really like the looks for drag bars, however I really do like the position I am in with the bars now.
4.) Possibly a exhaust this Winter once I have the cash...(is there a tutorial somewhere regarding adding new pipes? I know you have to change the fuel intake and such...this is all new to me...going to have to start researching..)

If it's a carb you're in luck. A simple rejetting, but if EFI a Sert is in order.
