I have a 98 heritage and would like to build a bobber out of it on a small budget. could someone help me get started. really don't have idea of where to get parts or anything. would kind of like to get a look close to the sucker punch sally bikes or the exile bobber that was built on tv. don't really know how or where to start but knew you guys would. thanks for any help.

I think the biggest thing about turning a softail into a bobber is figuring out how you want to run the back fender. You can either lower the hell out of it or rigid mount the fender to the swing arm (solo riding only due to the fender going up and down with the swing arm) The Exile look is pretty sweet with the dull aluminum finish. I think it would be cool to make a bobber with the fat front tire like Exile. It's something you don't see every day. I also dig the cleanhandlebar look.
