I was wondering if anyone has replaced the heritage front fender with something different...like, a fat boy fender or similar. Sometimes when looking at my Heritage Softail Classic, I feel like the front fender is bulky and heavy looking. I wonder if the bike would look better with a cleaner lighter front fender like the fat boy. Any comments or thoughts? Does anyone feel like I do or is it just me?
If you don't mind...what did it cost you to do that conversion? I love the look! I wanted a fat boy originally but bought my Heritage mainly because the wife wanted to ride alot also. Plus, the mini apes felt right for me. You bike looks like a cross between both. SHARP!
I put the Fat Boy fender on the front of my Heritage for the same reason you are thinking. I ordered a factory unit since it was painted and striped like my bike.
Go to the harley site> softail> heritage classic>customize. They have a picture of a customized classic with a different front fender. It all looks good to me except that big butt trunk.

Very nice, Tx_Outlaw!! You like those Cruise Arms? I ordered a set for my Heritage Classic 2 days ago. Can't wait to install them.
