Default 2005 Heritage Softail Cuts Off

I have a 2005 Heritage Softail Classic Fuel Injected with about 4,500 miles. About3 or4 times over the past couple of years, it has just cut off on me. I'll be riding down the road and it just starts to chug and sputter, like it is out of gas, and then cuts off. I think it happens most when I have half a tank of gas or less. I did read somewhere that it could be a vapor lock in the gas tank, but the last time this happened I was able to remove the gas cap before it cut off, and it still cut off. Most of the time it will start back up after a minute or two, but I did have to have it towed once because it wouldn't start back up. I changed the fuel tank and fenders over last year, just for a color change, and it still does the same thing, so I know it is not the fuel tank. The HD dealer said they couldn't find anything wrong with it. Any one know what causes this and how I might be able to fix it? Thanks in advance.
