on my 05 train,i wanted to know how many miles i could get on a tank.i went 208 miles,city/highway before i filled up.now i dont even look at gauge or light,i just reset odo to 0and fill up at around 180-190 miles

I'm with "asputin". I go by the miles and figure anywhere around 180 miles. Usally still about 1.5 Gallons left in the tank. I have seen my light come on way earlier than 1 gallon left in the tank.

I was gonna post this question as well. Whenmy gauge reads "Empty", the light comes on and I still have at least 1.5 gallons.The first time I ran the tank down, going by the reserve count down,I thought I was getting like 30 mpg, thenthinking Iwasalmost out of gas I only put in 4.1 gallons. I really wish the gauge was more accurate because in the flat lands, my gas mileage can vary up to 10 mpg depending on how hard I battle the freakin headwinds. Good to hear that's about par with the rest though.
