Thanks to everyone for answering my question. I was a little sketchy about trying to mod anything beforebut since he got a spare set of mufflers i figured he could always go back to original. Ive modded my pipes on my road king but i also put a fuel management system on it an its an 05 with no O2 sensors. So this isa whole new thing for me to try out and its not my bike to play with so i didnt want to steer him in the wrong directon. Thanks again everyone!

Check around, I'm sure you'll find a lot of things on here that you can do with your bike.
We're kinda good at helping people spend their money on their bikes.

Just got done modding my buds stock pipes. I havent heard them yet as he brought over just the pipes. He called me to tell me it sounds good with the exception of a slight whistle on idle. he was happy as hell tho. Just wanted to say thanks for the info. Especially you Citoriplus. You helped me find the confidence I needed to cut up my friends bike!
