alright, so i blew out the seals in my airtail shock, and progressives warranty says theyll have it back in 48 hours. Called them up, they said, "ship it to us, we'll fix it and send it back. We will match whatever shipping you use, so if you use ground, we will too, and so on." So, I ship it from illinois to california next day air,I paid 60$ for next day air and shipped it out Friday May 2nd, and they got it on Monday May 5th since they arent open on saturdays. Then I called them Thursday May 8 to see how it was coming along, and they said that their ONLY warranty tech guy was out until monday may 5. So i called them on tuesday the 6th to see if they had gotten anywhere with it, and they said he was still out and they thought hed be back on wednesday. On thursday, yesterday, i found out that they had shipped it out, and it was all complete. I called and asked if i could get a tracking number and he said yeah, let me call the shipping department and call you back. 3 hours later no call, so i called them again and he said oh yeah, i havent heard from the shipping guy yet, ill call you when i do. still no call 12 hours later, so i called them, and they gave me the tracking number almost immediately. Then i go to ups.com and type in my tracking number and it says it shipped out thursday and wont be here til wednesday the 21st because they shipped it ground!!!!!! So, i called them back and he said, sorry theres nothing we can do about it since it already left our building. And i said id never buy any shocks from them again, and he said sorry and hung up. So now because of them im gonna miss 2 1/2 weeks of riding, and 3 great weekends of riding, which i knew in the first place i would miss 1 weekend since i shipped it to them on a friday. so now i have to cancel my plans for tomorrow morning, which consisted of waking up early and heading out for a cruise, stopping into a local dealers open house, and cruising down to my cousins for her sons birthday party. I am SO PISSED right now!!!!!!!

 

Sorry to hear, that kind of costumer relations get too ya sometimes. I’m sure you will post the good word on their product. We can always complain but getting even is more fun when it comes to poor service.

 

and the seals blew out after about 50 miles!

 

Hopefully you still have your old shocks laying around , if so put them back on for a couple weeks . may not be the ultimate look/ride but it beats not riding .

Losing the 2.5 weeks sucks, but this actually doesn't sound too bad...worst comes to worst, you could ebay them to get your shipping back.
On the flipside, you'll be paranoid from now on that the damn seals will go again...crap you don't need to sweat on a long ride.
