Anyone ever ordered from DirectHarleyParts.com?

I placed an order last Thursday. I contacted them on Friday to see if the orders would ship Friday or Monday. I was informed Monday at the latest.

Monday evening came and their website still showed "Processing" so I called and I was told it shipped and that the website would update overnight and reflect the shipping with tracking numbers. Tuesday morning comes and nothing. I called about an hour ago and the gentlemen said they must have not inputted the information so he said he'd go get the tracking numbers and email them to me and update the website.(Was told that would take 10-15 minutes) That has long and past and still no information.....Of course they've closed for the day.

Anyone ever had a problem with this distributor?

**Update** Products shipped yesterday.

Don't hold your breath! I have ordered from them on 2 occasions and both times it took roughly 8 days to "process" and 2 days to get here once shipped. Be patient, they will get the order out eventually. Your're just setting yourself up for more frustration by contacting them. I suspect they don't stock their product. I guess that is the tradeoff for the low pricing.

That means that they're ten to twelve times quicker than Chicago Harley...

Never ordered from them; don't think I will after hearing about your experience. I've had very good results with Zanotti's.

I would not have a problem if they were to say from the get go that it hasn't shipped yet. But, to on two occasions say it has and then not come through on your promises....I have issue with that. I'll call again tomorrow and if I don't have Tracking Numbers by the time I hangup....I'll be have the bank reverse the charges. They charged my card on the 11th.

Slow processing is one thing, but if they say something shipped and it didn't - well, I don't deal well with liars.

+1 for Zanottis - ordered from them several times and they are really on the ball. Plus, you can see if they actually have your item in stock before ordering.

Annoying them w/ all these phone calls doesn't seem to be working out all that well for you. If it is something you need so quickly why mail-order it? Why not get it at the local HD dealer?
