Default Trip planned..service question?
Have a trip planned this weekend....i have 200miles on the clock now, the trip will be around 700 miles, problem is the dealer here in France is telling me i need my first service at 500miles? from what i read you guys in the states have your first service at 1000k...
can anybody tell me what is the correct 1st service milage

In the States, it's 1,000 miles for your model.

Only 500 mile service I have heard of is for a springer. But I dunno....

1k should be it for a night train.

I guess if you wanted to you could always just change your oil before you go.... but that might be a waste.

1000 miles according to my dealer.

Harley Davidson Europe recommends 1st service at 1,600KM (1,000) miles.

Thanks for the help chaps...looks like the only thing worse than a harley stealer is a French harley stealer
