I like Metzler tires, they aregreat + they have a 210 wide back tire that can fit your bike without any mods if you like a fatter tire in the back which most do.
AK47, When you said the 210 tire will fit without mods, does this mean you didn't have to replace the stock rim either? I have an 08 custom and I will probably be replacing my tire in the next 6-8mths. Sorry if this sounds stupid, I'm not familiar with what tires can fit what rims.
Thanks,
Chris

I had the Metzler 210 on the rear and great ride and grip but only 4700 miles and Dunlop gets 10,000. I did go with the Metzler on the front and have about the same ride as with Metzlers on front and rear. I think I found the best combination for the price. If i had the money i could get best of both and get the new Michelin. Hard rubber center tread and soft rubber side tread.

DUNLAP will give you the best all around service they are the finest street tire made.
You will get all the proformance of any other tire plus more miles from them.
So called racing tires are not made for the street and return you little.
