RE: Where is everyone putting there Security Fobs?
ORIGINAL: RACKnRAIL
I can't believe you're asking this. I mean, doesn't everyone keep theirs on a key ring?
I have mine on a key ring that clips ona quality climbers carabiner with the rest of my keys. It stays on my belt loop with me at all times.
+1 for the rocker owners, Our bikes wont start with out the key. I cant think of a logical explanation, to why anyone would not leave their fob on the ring with the key? It eliminates all problems, unless you like leaving your key in the ignition. And that would be stupid.

And why would you not lock your ignition? The fob is on the key ring and the key ring is with me.
Our rockers dont have the ignorant ignition most harleys have, where you can pull the key out and still turn the ignition switch on and start the bike with out the key. How stupid. The rockers key will not pull out of the ignition in the on position. Its LOCKED when you pull the key out. Simple. I know several owners that dont even remember where their keys are. On a rocker if you dont know where your key is, you aint going for a ride.

Key and fob are on one ring and always stay together for obvious reasons.
Leaving the fob with the bike is a bad idea ... defeats the whole point of the security system.
I usually lock my forks when I park the bike so the key does not stay in the ignition.
I keep it on a small carabiner that conveniently attaches to my wallet chain which goes on my belt ... always there when you need it, doesn't fall out of a pocket plus if you still hear the jingle of the keys you know they're still there.
RE: Where is everyone putting there Security Fobs?
I put them in a yellow bag with my keys and credit cards leave it on top of my seat with an arrow pointing to it
(sorry mate had to have some fun ) on a key ring clipped to my jeans or if you ride with a patch then in your vest inside pocket
RE: Where is everyone putting there Security Fobs?
Man, this question is making me look like a dumbass. haha
The stealer actually said that some guys will stick them to the bottom of there seats. I have been putting it in my pocket for as long as I have had my bike, but was wondering what everyone else did. I thought it sounded strange but hey, I'm a newbie here. Not to smrt when it comes to this Harley things quite yet.
So where would I find these things called key chains? haha just kidding.
Thanks for everyones comments. I'll try and come back a little later with an even dumber question. haha

I love when people bash people for asking a simple question. Nobody bashes your questions about what studded bags you should buy for your bike or what paint job with glitter you should have.
